After over three decades of inactivity, the Nice reformed in 2002 for a series of concerts. Dave Kilminster guested on guitar at the concerts.

A three-CD set Vivacitas (Live in Glasgow) was released, with Nice songs,  three piano solo pieces by Emerson, some pieces from the ELP repertoire performed by the Keith Emerson Band, and a 2001 interview with Emerson, Lee Jackson and Brian Davison by Chris Welch.
